Levata Finance Group provides credit assistance to individuals and businesses in relation to credit products, including:
Credit assistance means we help you apply for credit, suggest credit products that may suit your needs, or assist you to remain in an existing credit contract. We act as your intermediary with lenders but do not make lending decisions ourselves.
We do not provide financial advice, legal advice or tax advice. We recommend you seek independent advice from a qualified financial adviser, accountant or solicitor as appropriate.
As a licensed credit representative, we are required by law to:
Before providing credit assistance, we will ask you about your financial situation, requirements and objectives. It is important that you provide us with accurate and complete information so that we can assist you appropriately.
Levata Finance Group operates under an aggregator arrangement and works with a panel of lenders including major banks, second-tier lenders and specialist lenders. Our lender panel is subject to change over time.
We will provide you with information about the lenders and products we recommend as part of our credit assistance. You can ask us at any time which lenders we work with.
We do not act exclusively for any single lender. Our obligation is to you — to recommend a product that suits your individual needs from the options available on our panel.
Levata Finance Group may receive remuneration in the following forms:
| Payment Type | Description | Paid By |
|---|---|---|
| Upfront Commission | A percentage of the loan amount, paid when the loan settles. Typically ranges from 0.55% to 0.77% of the loan amount (including GST), depending on the lender. | Lender |
| Trail Commission | An ongoing monthly commission based on the outstanding loan balance. Typically ranges from 0.10% to 0.20% per annum (including GST), paid for the life of the loan while the loan remains on the lender's books. | Lender |
| Aggregator Revenue Share | Our aggregator may share a portion of commissions received from lenders with Levata Finance. This does not affect what you pay. | Aggregator |
| Broker Fees | In limited circumstances, we may charge a broker fee for complex or specialist transactions. If a fee applies, we will disclose this to you in writing before you proceed. | You (client) |
You do not pay us directly for standard home loan and residential mortgage services. Our commissions are paid by the lender after your loan settles. These commissions are built into the lender's cost structure and do not increase the interest rate or fees you pay.
The actual commissions we receive will be disclosed to you in a Credit Proposal Disclosure Document before you submit a loan application.
We are subject to the Best Interests Duty (BID) under the NCCP Act. This means that when we provide credit assistance, we must act in your best interests and prioritise your interests over our own, including in relation to the commissions and remuneration we receive.
